How do I complete my CE requirements?

In addition to our classes, MW Group provides you the options of studying your course materials online, in print, or by enrolling at our online system. All of our online and correspondence courses are self-paced. You determine how quickly you complete the course work, and test when you are ready.

IS MW Group approved as a CE provider in South Carolina?

Yes and we only offer approved continuing education courses.

Remember in South Carolina you cannot repeat a course within a three year time frame.  Our classroom courses are new for each reporting period. You can take a course with a similar subject but not with the same course number.  When you order your correspondence we will verify that you have not taken it from us in the past three years.

Are the Online, correspondence courses difficult?

Our courses are designed to provide agents with informative, easy to understand materials that will reinforce your skills while completing your CE requirements quickly. The majority of our courses are presented at the intermediate level, geared to the average agent.

How long will it take me to complete a course?

The length of time it will take to complete a course varies by the individual. A typical modules is 50 to 100 pages long, and our materials are structured for easy reading and comprehension. Certifications are based on successful exams plus the submission of any required forms. The amount of time spent completing each course is not measured.

How many questions are on the test and what is a passing grade?

All tests are multiple choice and consist of at least 50 questions, depending on the length of the book and state guidelines. All test questions are taken directly from the course material. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass.

When do I take my tests?

We have made it easy for you!

South Carolina requires that your exam be proctored by a licensed proctor.  We have set up proctoring sites throughout South Carolina. 

Once submitted you will receive a confirmation notice with directions and an actual start time.  A test and any required forms are provided to you for every course you order.

How long will it take for my tests to be graded?

Tests are graded within 48 hours of receipt. Once a test has received a passing grade it will be processed immediately  and a certificate of completion will be furnished to Experior for SC producers.

How will I know if I passed?

You may call our customer service department for your test results. However, please wait 48 hours after faxing the tests before calling. With standard processing, your test results will not be available until then.

How do my CE hours get reported to the state?

MW Group will provide the necessary paperwork, state fees (if applicable) and forms to South Carolina according to their guidelines.
